There are moments when you don’t just feel happy… you have to stop for a second because your throat tightens, and let your heart catch up with everything that has happened.
The RRCH (Rhodesian Ridgeback Club Hungary) Dog of the Year 2025 competition gave me exactly such a moment. The dogs of the Empyrean kennel achieved results that are not only about work… but about years of faith, struggle, hope, new beginnings, and countless shared moments.
Empyrean is not just a kennel. Empyrean is my everything. My passion. My dogs are the driving force of my life. They give meaning to my everyday life. Without them, everything would be emptier, quieter, more colorless. Since they came into my life, the world has become whole and complete.
These titles are not just trophies on a shelf. Behind them are early mornings, tired evenings, the quiet nerves before entering the ring, the look we share after a round, the relieved smile… and sometimes even tears. There is every decision, every doubt, every new beginning – and above all, the bond between us, something no cup or title could ever truly express.
Because they are not “just” dogs. They are companions. Family. Teachers. They taught me to be patient, to trust, to keep going when things are hard, and to believe that work done with love always finds its way.

George is not just a dog to me — he represents a dream that came true. The first male born in my kennel who grew into a stud dog, and with him a whole new chapter of Empyrean began. He is an incredibly emotional, kind-hearted soul, always gentle, always willing to give, always trying to please.
Behind his titles and results, there is a dog with a beautiful heart. A dog who reminds me every day why I started this journey in the first place. I am endlessly proud of him — not only for what he achieves in the ring, but for who he is at home, by my side.

Everything started with Zion. He is the foundation of it all — of Empyrean, of my dreams, of the life I live with dogs today. He is the meaning of my life, my unconditional love.
I am grateful for every single minute we spend together. Grateful that he is part of my life, that he chose me, that he makes my everyday life brighter and more beautiful just by being here. Some dogs change your life… Zion is my life.

Phoenix is truly his father’s son — in his looks, in his presence, in that special feeling he carries with him. Every time I look at him, I see Zion again. He is still a little rascal, full of youthful energy and mischief, but I know he will grow into a truly beautiful male.
I am incredibly grateful that he stayed close to me, that I can watch him grow every single day, and that I can walk this journey with him.
