Hunter was born in April 2023, in the very first Empyrean litter. Even as a puppy, it was clear that he was a special boy—although back then, he expressed it in a very different way. Full of energy, endlessly curious, and always ready for his next adventure, he was a cheerful whirlwind of enthusiasm. As he matured, that youthful exuberance gradually transformed into the calm confidence, balance, and dignity that define him today.

Hunter has grown into exactly the male I had always hoped for. Confident, intelligent, and beautifully balanced, yet incredibly kind. From his mother, he inherited a natural love for people that is immediately apparent to everyone who meets him. He is affectionate, people-oriented, and always enjoys being close to those he loves, while carrying himself with the noble presence that defines an outstanding Rhodesian Ridgeback.

With other dogs, Hunter is respectful, balanced, and self-assured. A true gentleman, he courts the ladies with natural elegance and never loses his dignity. Beneath his calm temperament lies the instinctive drive that has always been part of the breed. His enthusiasm for hunting small game and the confidence he shows while moving through forests and open fields are constant reminders of the Rhodesian Ridgeback’s remarkable versatility.

Hunter’s achievements in the show ring speak for themselves. He is a Junior International Champion, International Champion, as well as a Champion and Grand Champion in several countries. One of the greatest milestones of his career came in 2026, when he won the Open Class at the World Dog Show—an achievement that beautifully reflects the journey we have shared together.

Yet despite all of his titles and accomplishments, Hunter’s greatest strength has never been measured by ribbons or trophies. It is found in his character. He is a male who combines strength with gentleness, confidence with kindness, and dignity with an affectionate heart.

When I look at Hunter, I see far more than a successful show dog. I see a male whose noble presence, balanced temperament, and exceptional character perfectly represent everything the name Empyrean stands for.

I truly believe that Hunter’s greatest legacy will not only be the titles he has earned, but the qualities he will pass on to future generations.
